Working together - the process

Let's collaborate to make building your website an enjoyable experience. Merging your business vision, your text and photos with my my web design & marketing skills and experience will create the web presence to suit your requirements and budget.

1. Free consultation

Let's meet to talk about your website. We'll discuss your online goals, your targeted viewers, your brand image, and your budget. I’ll give you a quote which includes all fees and services.

2. Consistent branding

Please furnish me with all of your current marketing materials - logo, flyer/brochure, car door advertising. Your website design should match your brand for a harmonious and professional look.

3. When we agree to work together

I'll email to you a Digital Media Agreement (D.M.A.) This contract will list deliverables, price and the mutually agreed to time frame. I'll ask you to email it back to me, stating that you approve it or edit and email to me for approval. This D.M.A help to clarify goals, and ensure that both parties get the services, payments and time frame they expect.

4. Down payment, Domain name & Web hosting

Upon ordering your website, a down payment of 50% of the quoted cost is due. If needed, I'll purchase on your behalf and configure your domain name and web hosting account. If desired, I'll configure email addresses for you based on your domain name - for example - info@yourdomain.com

5. Design proposal

Allow one week (2 weeks for a CMS) for your design proposal to be built. I'll upload the proposal to your web space and contact you when it's ready for a look. This is the time to collaborate on the look and feel of your site. Let's perfect the colours, layout, font choices, navigation and total design. When you are satisfied, please give me final approval for the design. If you request design changes after design approval is given, the additional work is charged to you at $55./hour.

6. Thirty Day Delivery Deadline - your text and images

Please email to me your web ready text and photos (I'll resize and optimise) within 30 days of giving design approval (sooner is better!) If the data is delivered in a reasonable time frame (not on day 29), your 1 to 5 page website should be completed within 30 days. After the data delivery deadline has been passes, any new text or image updates are charged at $55. / hour. Please view www.pesavento.biz/images.html for help with your photos. Note - for larger websites or holiday periods, we'll reach a mutually agreeable data deadline.

7. Building the site

When the design is approved, I'll then build all of your ordered web pages and finish the navigation. All of the website deliverables - CMS, forms, map, slideshow, mobilization, animations, and programming will be completed at this time.

8. Team proofreading and testing

Your website will be uploaded to your webspace, tested and proofread. I'll ask you to proofread & test to ensure all is correct. I'll finish optimising your site for the search engines; build and verify a Google sitemap, and configure a Google analytics statistics account.

9. Site completion

When the website jobs are completed, the final 50% payment is due. Note - site completion is not dependent upon your data delivery, see Thirty Day Deadline above.

10. Payment in full

When the final payment has been made, your Website Details Document will be emailed to you. This will give you total control of your website and all logons for your Domain Name, Hosting Account, FTP, Control Panel and Statistics Program. Plus you'll receive my tutorial "How to market your website to market your business or organisation."
